New Year, New (Old) Blog

Hello out there.

I am not a new Tumblr user. This is the same Tumblr URL I have been using for over three years now. But you may be thinking, “Then why aren’t there any posts prior to this one?”

It’s because I deleted my old Tumblr that went by the same name.

Doing so has caused me to lose my number of followers, and for that, I apologise to those who had stuck with me throughout those years. For that, I’m sorry I deleted my Tumblr. You obviously followed my Tumblr some years ago because something in or about it interested you.

That, unfortunately, was no longer the case with me after these number of years.

Checking the archives, there were far too many things I wanted to delete that reminded me of my earlier “blogging” days. By this I can truly say that I have changed quite a bit since then. I no longer wanted to have a Tumblr archive full of posts from my 17 year old self. There was nothing inappropriate, really, but for a while I had wanted to have a “blog” of my own that didn’t consist entirely of reblogs of random pictures of the numerous blogs I had followed.

I didn’t really have any idea where I wanted to take my so-called blog back then because the only reason I made a Tumblr account was because I had tried and somewhat failed at managing a WordPress blog prior. I remember that what made me want to create a Tumblr account was that Tumblr was geared to a more visually-oriented exhibition of posts. The overall feel of Tumblr was easier as well.

Since the discontinuation of Tumblarity, Tumblr has changed much over the years for the better, I believe.

To whoever may be reading this, prepare for sporadic postings about anything and everything, though there are things I will most definitely not post on here.

Here’s to a new year with a new (old) blog!
